there's a part at the end when the protagonist (I forgot his name) is under interrogation and realizes that his interrogator, and by extension, ingsoc itself, is a lunatic.
based on lunacy. in today's politics what does that merkel you of? Like the idiots on our college campuses and others, who if they REALLY had the courage of their convictions, would light themselves on fire in protest over the fascist who will be sworn in as president in a matter of weeks. Keith Olbermann first of course. and I'd bring the marshmallows.
