Gay Republicans?

No idea. It makes about as much sense as having a black guy in the Ku Klux Klan. :dunno:

I can tell you 2 reasons exactly why.

1. Change comes from within. No one is going to get the Repubs off their little "Leave it to Beaver" trip unless people inside are doing it.

2. As a former Republican I can claim, they used to have their **** together. The things they stood for made sense and were achievable. Now? Well, the orchestra has left the building, but no one told the guy banging the cymbals.

There was a West Wing episode that dealt with reason #1. I can't remember which one, though.

You forget 3

3. People who pursue power for power's sake. Idealism and principles are only tools used to achieve it and are subject to change. Perceived a niche to fill, Looks good on a form I imagine.

I am not a Republican. I do agree with them sometimes.

The Log Cabin Republicans . :1orglaugh

Think about that when you think of Abraham Lincoln. ;)
I don't know what any of that means.

Wow, I thought Will would be able to answer this one definitively due to his vast experience with sucking Republican dicks.

Who knew Lincoln was a homo?

:rofl2:

Really? The Republican part of that was that with which you took exception?

Not you again.

They call themselves the GOP.
The Republican party has not been around since it started.

Just look at the first Republican President. (Fabian Socialist, member of the Fabian Society.)
