I'm old. So back when they were still popular on regular TV, the no-miss ones were: Match Game, The Newlywed Game, Hollywood Squares, and to some degree The $10,000 Pyramid. If you were out of work or a bored housewife, The Price Is Right always had high ratings. I remember staying home sick from school, and we'd have all of these American syndicated shows on in the A.M...like The Lucy Show and The Wild, Wild West and such. Then around lunchtime you'd have The Price Is Right which was in syndication when I was a kid...it wasn't airing with regular episodes. They were replaying the old Bill Cullen episodes until sometime around when cable TV first started in the early Seventies. Then the PIR began airing as new episodes with Bob Barker, who came over from Truth Or Consequences...another show I liked as a kid.
