If so, how did this relationship come about?
Honestly I think I am at a point in my life where I could use one of these with no strings attached! :nannerf1:

I have had a few. Best way to get one is to have a friend that recently broke up and doesn't want any drama attached with dating, but is still used to a craving for daily sex.

I've had a couple. She was just a friend I would go drinking with once in a while, and eventually, one drunken night, we hooked up. We both understood we wanted nothing more than to get off once in a while and that was that. Anybody who says they can't work, or you'll end up having feelings or some other bullshit just sucks at life.

I had one in the past and would never ever start another one again (letting the fact out that I'm married in the meantime, but I wouldn't do it again even when I was single). It's asking for troubles no matter how hard you both agreed on the rules from the start. A certain moment women think they are attached (feeling wise) and then they start to believe they have an actual formal relationship.
:nono: It never works. Maybe we were still too young back then, maybe you have to be 'off the market', I don't know, but I do know it didn't work out at all and I had a lot of trouble to get away from her because she didn't want to let me go and I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

I don`t know whether it is possible to be as detached as you`d need to be merely to have that kind of "relationship" with someone. I`m sure with the benefit of hindsight that a few years ago I had a friend who could very very easily have been a fuck buddy and although I didn`t realise that at the time, in hindsight I`m sure we could have had a few fuck sessions. What I don`t know is whether if we had, either of us would have been able to avoid wanting it to be something more. But you can waste a lot of time thinking about what might have been.

My ex and I still fooled around for awhile after we both moved on and dated other people. It was just sex and watching Law and Order SVU, nothing else. Maybe dinner occasionally, but no strings attached. That worked great for a few months. Then she moved to Oregon.
