freeze bug affecting FN:rd4 > HDD probs.........anyone....

Teamxbox- the 360 version of F. Night is having freezing issues.EA says its a 360 hardrive prob not game code and the demo had issues too.

EA says its a hardware prob, the ps3 version is fine,Microsoft says its only affecting a small %. A small % what does that mean 10 million people out of the 36 mill consoles, lol. whatya think?

When my first 360 broke 6 months after launch the gamestop manager asked me if I tried a different HDD,said that there were probs with the HDD's giving false hardware failure red-rings. With my 2nd 360 I was having single player lag and framerate chugging, clearing the cache would fix it but not for long so I ended up buying a new HDD and I havent had that problem since but that HDD is in my 4th 360 now. Anyone else have any HDD probs like this?

Typical Microsoft hardware garbage. Sorry Shayd Microsoft is NOT a hardware company. They make hardware yes but you have to be in that game longer then 5 yrs to be A hardware company.

I'm no Microsoft apologist!

But more seriously, a vast number of hardware wouldn't exist if we exclude companies starting in the past 5 years. And I don't have a definitive answer yet, but from a number of people I know who work at EA, the problem might not actually be Microsoft, but the retailers selling the HDD separately.

What are the retailers doing storing and handling them improperly during transit and in their wherehouse?

what the fuck you lookin at?
I still have my first 360. It RROD but they fixed it for free and sent the exact same one back. No problems since. It'll freeze once in a great while, but usually only after its been on for several hours on end.

I was thinking about getting a bigger HDD as I have just the 20 gig one that came with the thing. But not now. OH and a small % no doubt really means 75%. They said RROD was a small percentage to when that shit first started happening. What was the final numbers on that? Close to 100% of the launch consoles???

By in large, yes. You'd be amazed by the amount of people working for supposedly trusted technology vendors (I'm looking at you BestBuy) who have no idea how to properly house common computer parts.
