So what do you have to do to win? How about a game of Scrabble, Freeones style?
Playing the Game:
1.) Each day seven letters will be posted that can be used to make words from the existing words on the playing board. The goal is to make long words or use letters with high point values to gain a big score for the day.
2.) If a letter hits a white square, the word value doubles. If a letter hits a black square, the word value triples.
3.) The word formed must be spelled correctly and be part of the english language.
4.) Letters may only be placed up and down on the board. A letter from an existing word on the board MUST be used to form your words. There must be a space between your word and another word, unless they form a word in itself (example: if I place NO to the left side of ON in Freeones, it forms the words No, On, and Not. You do get credit for all the words formed).
5.) You may form as many words as you can come up with using the 7 daily letters and the words already on the playing board.
How to Win:
1.) The contest will run from today until Tuesday, April 1st. The winners will be posted in the afternoon on the 1st.
2.) PM me your words for the day in this format. You can tally the points for each word if you like, otherwise I'll do this for you:
3.) Scores are accumulated daily. So if you earn 10 points Monday and 15 points Tuesday your total score for the week is 25. The more days you play, the higher your score for the week.
4.) The winners will be those with the top 10 highest scores. Winning a pass in this contest will not count against your trying to win a pass in the next contest!
