I'm not a fan of either franchise, but just based on the movies, all I have to do is tell FK that "I'm not afraid of you." then he disintegrates into oblivion or something until the next sequel.

If I did the same with Wolverine, I'd probably still get disemboweled.

I had a landlord named Howard Ross who was the spitting image of Freddy Krueger except being older and cheaper. He wore a hat and this wool sweater that would make me scratch when I saw him wear it. He didn't haunt me in my dreams but would show up at 8:30 in the morning to pick up the rent and try to see if he could see my girlfriend naked. He came by at night one time and nodded off in his car. I snuck up on him and unleashed terror while he slept almost sending him to the other side of the lawn.

Freddy's no match for Wolverine.

Freddy only has one clawed-glove while Wolverine's got claws on both hand so he would deal withFreddy's claws busy with one of his hand and cut Freddy's arm with the other hand. Without his glove, Freddy's inoffensive.
keep in mind that Wolverine's claws are made of adamantium, the strongest metal there is. Freddy's claws are most probably made of steel or iron, so Wolverine's claws would just cut Freddy's claws out of his glove.
Alos, Freddy's a sloppy fighter while Wolverine's has decades of experience in all kinds of martial art.

Even in the Dream World, Freddy's classic tactic is to use his opponent fears against him but Wolverine mind is almost impossible to penetrate so even there, Freddy would be totally outmatched

Wolverine has advanced healing properties unbreakable bones speed and agility and Freddy Krueger has a sense of humor game over Freddie
