Fox News poll : Bernie, ObamaCare, Planned Parenthood more popular than Trump

FOX NEWS POLL: Bernie Sanders remains the most popular politician in the US

A Fox News poll released Wednesday indicated some Americans have unfavorable opinions about the Trump administration, as well as some congressional Democrats and Republicans.

Trump's overall job approval rating has dropped five points compared to a February poll from the network. As of March 15, 43% of surveyed voters approve of Trump's performance, while 51% disapprove.

Of the 43% of voters who approved, 30% said they "strongly approve," while 13% said they "somewhat approve."
Of the 51% who disapproved, 7% "somewhat disapproved" while 45% "strongly disapproved," the Fox News poll found.

In the February survey, 48% of people surveyed by Fox News said they approved of Trump's job performance and 47% disapproved.

While both Democrats and Republicans received low approval ratings from respondents, Democrats fared slightly better than Republicans with 32% of respondents approving of their actions in Congress, and 60% disapproving. Republicans earned a 29% approval rating of their actions in Congress and a disapproval rating of 63%.

Voters were also read a list of people, items, and organizations and asked if they had a "favorable" or "unfavorable" opinion of them.

Sen. Bernie Sanders received a rating of 61% to 32%.
Planned Parenthood was rated 57% favorable to 32 unfavorable.
The Affordable Care Act, or "Obamacare" was rated 50% favorable and 47% unfavorable.
Vice President Mike Pence received ratings of 47% favorable to 43% unfavorable.
House Speaker Paul Ryan's ratings were 37% favorable compared to 47% unfavorable.

Fox News' poll was conducted from March 12-14, 2017 via telephone (landlines and cell phones) with 1,008 randomly selected voters from across the country.
The poll was done in conjunction with Democratic Anderson Robbins Research and Republican Shaw & Company Research. The full poll results report, including answers to over 50 questions, can be read here : http://www.foxnews.com/politics/interactive/2017/03/15/fox-news-poll-315/

1) I am still 100% sure Bernie would have won over Trump

2) Trump, Pence and Ryan are all three less popular than policies they want to eliminate...

3) On February, Trump had a +1 approval index (48/47). Now he's down to -8 (43/51).
It took Obama 6 monthes to get a negative approval index. And it took him one more month to get to -8 or lower. Trump made in in 2 monthes

There is no doubt Bernie would have won, the Democrat party self-destructed

And which of these 4 rust belt states, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan would Bernie have won?

:1orglaugh

BTW Bernie did win, he got the most votes many times but Hillary got all of the delegates.

Or did the Russians hack the Democrat primaries?

Bwahahaha

Ohio was a clear Trump victory but Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin were very close so I'm 100% sure Bernie would have these 3. And Arizona as well

Not the russians, the DNC. As randysandy said it, the democratic party self-destruct. Wouldn't they they would have won.

Trump resonated with illegals driving down wages and companies moving out of the country. Bernie was against TPP but did not address the concerns of rust belt blue collar voters.

Trump would have crushed him by more votes than he did against Hillary in those states.

If the election were held today, Trump would win by at least 10- 15 points .

You don't even have a grasp on your own elections, much less mine.

Hey dipshit, the country was not going to elect a unapologetic socialist as the American president. Even Obama and Clinton wouldn't admit to it.

We are not Europe, we will never be like Europe.

You are like most leftists living in an alternative universe.

Like I said, May is coming fast, you better worry about your own elections.

And a Jew as well. I completely agree he had no chance.
Although by my perception the "unapologetic socialist" label isn't fully accurate. But then the general American populace can't be bothered understanding the differences between democratic socialism and say soviet style marxism. Whatever the actual gradations, in America if it's red it's dead.

If the election were held today, Trump would win by at least 10- 15 points

Now this one I don't know how you figure. His approval numbers are down since he took office, so :dunno:

"Democratic socialism" is an oxymoron and was invented in the last 10 years in much the same way that "Progressive" was intended to soften the "liberal" label.

It's socialism, redistribution of wealth, let's get the band back together again.

It's a turd no matter how many times they try to varnish it.

I would welcome Trump on the ballot right now, to indicate his real approval numbers.

No way the media controlled polling is going to allow him to have good numbers just as they weren't going to allow Obama's to slip.

Yeah, Bernie never adressed the concerns of the blue collar voters. Blue colar voters don't give a fuck about raising the minimum wage, they want their kids to get into huge debts to pay for college, single-payer healthcare is not in their interest and they don't want that, they are happy about bankers making billions and screwing them when they barely make ends meet, they don't want paid materniy leaves, etc.
By October 2016, Hillary's approval rating was aroound 30%, Trump's was around 40% Bernie's was around 60%.

Listen Euro-guy, I want the Democrats to go ever farther left..

The country has not moved to a European style socialism yet.

And no he wouldn't have won.

I am going to warn you, if Le Pen wins I am going to troll the fuck out of you.

Speaking of Bernie..

He's for the little guy

As an aside, if all "Democratic socialists" were like Bodie I might find them tolerable.

lol Well thanks, Wayne. Appreciate that. But I don't think I qualify as a democratic socialist. Sanders is a little too far left for my taste. I'm mostly pretty content with capitalism, and have certainly benefitted from it, but imo it needs to be watched over carefully else we're vulnerable to massive meltdowns like the 2008 one.

In a bit of good news for the President, the same poll showed he remains more popular than hemorrhoids or dinner with the in-laws.

Unlike Paul Ryan who's even less popular than crabs and colonoscopy...
