Very exciting start 3 cars abreast and within millimetres of each other and no accident. Button, Hamilton and Alonso - top drivers.

It got very close at the end too, with Lewis rapidly gaining on Mark Webber.

I think the Red Bulls have it wrapped up this year.

A lot can happen in 3 seconds...

I love F1 and it was great at the first part of the season to see so many different people win. But now it seems like it is business as usual with Red Bull and Vettel with him winning the last four races. I am hoping that Alonzo and Ferrari can pull it together and still give him a fight.

Somehow I just can't be really happy about the Qualifiying. Lewis is a Traitor, I just can't get myself to root for him any longer.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Beautiful pole run by Lewis today! He better cherish these poles, as I fear he's not going to be getting many more for quite some time. :(

Hey, look who's here! Hiya, Dawn Marie! Are you and Rob making any plans to go to the US Grand Prix? Doesn't Angel live near Austin? My plans to make the inaugural race fell through, but I'm hoping to make it next year if all goes well. BTW, I think they're going to be running a MotoGP(?) race there too. Aren't you a big motorcycle racing fan as well?

MotoGP, V8 Supercars, WEC, ALMS, and the Rolex Series are all going to be there next year

Sebastian Vettel has been demoted to the back of the grid as he did not have enough fuel to return to the pits and give a sample for testing. Leaves the door open for Alonso to make up some points.

Excellent drive from Lewis. Good to see that he is still giving his all regardless of where he will be next year. I get a feeling that the Brawn Mercedes will not be as far behind as some people seem to think.

Vettel is going to start from the pitlane, Alonso needs a podium finish to pass him in the standings. It seems out of reach now, but Red Bull can clinch the constructors title if they outscore McLaren and Ferrari by any margin

*assuming Vettel doesnt pick up any points
