Anthony Mason, a longtime NBA player who helped the New York Knicks reach the 1994 NBA Finals, has died at the age of 48.
A Knicks spokesperson confirmed to ESPN that Mason died early Saturday morning. The 13-year NBA veteran had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure earlier this month.

No...no...no...no...no I remember watching Mason and the Knicks on NBA on NBC. The cool theme song "duh duh da da dee dun nuh nuh" Marv Albert broadcasting the Knicks games. I miss that fucking theme song though...and the big Prudential logo would show up. In any case RIP Mason

Remember that too. I was just a kid but remember seeing family members watching that chase scene with such awe. Thought the whole chase thing was ridiculous tbh...In any case RIP Mason
