It's weird to think to think the 4 cylinder model will be above the base V6 in performance. Instead of that growl when you start the engine, you'll get that high pitched turbo whine.

Agreed. Keep the classics the classics and admire them for what they were. The new mustang improves it's performance across the board and updates it's looks, but not drastically. It's still the quintessential Mustang, just sleeker and more refined. VB compared it to a Jaguar. That's actually a good thing. I want that 4 cylinder turbo :drool2:

Mixed feelings. Agree that it may be too "modern" but at the same time it's pretty sick. But Ford just gave us a new Mustang, I wasn't tired of that one yet!

Since I think that the '69 Mustang fastbacks were the best looking ones ever, followed by the '10-'12s, I think they could've made an amazing looking car with a combo of the two.
Pretty much look like a '69, with the '10-'12s' tail light and reversing light group (but rectangular and not the trapezoids), the round Mustang emblem on the back as a real gas cap, CID badges and side scoops, and in the front it'd look like a '69, but with angled, single-light turn lamps outside the head lights (sorta like the '99-'04 cars but the head lights and side marker/turn lamps wouldn't be 1 piece) so no need for the additional side marker, have the chin spoiler so the bumper isn't so tall, and have a grill (with centered tri-bar pony badge like the 2012 Boss 302) large enough to not need the lower one that looks stupid to me, or atleast hide it in black surround so it's not as noticeable.
