Flash video grabbing

Does anyone know any good FREE flash video grabbing software, which allows you to save any videos on your PC from different websites and convert'em into avi, mpeg formats later, besides some online stuff for google and youtube capturing.

I never had much luck with it either, sometings it will save it but it's a .flv file which you the have to convert to .avi .mpeg whatever!
A royal pain in the ass!

I installed Uplug, but it doesn't want to show me any links to the uploaded files. May be there is smth else or i am using it unproperly....
