First great-grandchild for Queen due in December

LukeEl

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
Sweet, I love the contributions this band made to a little movie that rekindled my love for swords and decapitation. Way to go Queen, fat bottomed girls certainly make the rocking world go round.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Monarchies, lolz. :1orglaugh

You mean at one time you actually lost interest in swords and decapitation? For shame.

"Now is the winter of our discontent"

say what you want about the queen, but the history of the english hierarchy is very very interesting.
from alfred the great to cromwell its really one hell of a story.

The story of the Manson Family, the Marcos regime and Adolph Hitler is also quite interesting. That doesn't mean they needs to continue in 2010.

The UK has a great military, a sound democratic system and a prominent position on the World Stage. But talks of Queens and Princes is an complete joke.

I grew up in a Catholic household and I'm the first to point out the hypocrisy and absurdity of tradition. Brits should be on the same wavelength. Imagine if America made it law that a Bush had to hold office...we'd be a bigger laughing stock than we are now.

Alfred the great? Screw that! I personally like the tale of Henry Godwinson and William of Normandy. Now that is one prestigious story.

Congratulations to the useless, miserable old bag and her wretched racist cunt of a husband.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Got to remember to incorporate that into a signature one of these days.

maybe so but its still interesting shit all the stuff that happened in those years amongst the hierarchy
the twists, the manipulation, the wars, the plotting, the revenge.
A novelist couldn't ever create that stuff.

You give novelists too little credit. Ever read the bible?

The last 70 years of the Kennedy family resembles the first two Godfather films. The last 300 years of the Spoiled Family resembles Deliverance...only without the bathroom facilities during the sodomy off season.

I don't know how I feel about the Queen and the Monarchy.

I mean, I think the sense of aristocratic entitlement, sans the compulsion of responsibility, that comes with nobility is fucking retarded.

That said, though, if she wanted to knight me, I wouldn't turn her down.

I would rock my fucking knighthood proudly.

I would be like Rick James with my knighthood.

I would walk up in the club with a ceremonial saber and shit, being all grandiose.

"Sir Glock of Boston! I'm a knight, bitch! Show me your titties!"

I just like the history, all the cut throating and killing to gain power and/or preserve it.
a lot of the kings of england , dukes, earls, religious men were very very bad men.
they caused a lot of death and misery throughout the centuries.

so to me its not a matter of respect, just an interesting history.
