Yeah I had never seen scary movie 2 but knew that line.
One of my favorite scenes is this which I just copied from the worst presidents thread.

I loved the part in the original "Back to the Future" when the kid is back to 1955 and Doc asks him "OK if your from 1985,who is the President then?" and the kids tell him "Ronald Reagan"!And Doc says "WHAT THE "B" MOVIE ACTOR???"
Hilarious just Hilarious:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Actually he says Ronald Reagan? The Actor?!

The Searchers - "Let's go home, Debbie". And the final closing shot, later used to finish the movie version of The Godfather (a TV version has a completely different ending).

Dawn of the Dead (78) - Ken Foree's speech, "when there's no more room in Hell...."

The Dead Walks The Earth.

First Blood - Rambo's breakdown at the end, many people I know cry like babies during that scene.

American Pie 2 - the part where Stiffler is standing up in the back of the Bronco, yelling and "humping" as he pounds on the roof with his hands... makes me laugh every time! :1orglaugh

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - the part where Cloud dives headfirst off the ledge and Kadaj-turned-Sephiroth catches him...the "oh shit!" look on Cloud's face is priceless.

Matrix (the second one) - Where Neo fights all those Smith clones in the city park...yeah it's computer-generated to Hell but I still love the dialog and fight sequence.

Enlighten me on the Searchers-Godfather link.

Yes as Reagan actually was president in 1985 when the movie was made. And to anyone in 1955 when Reagan was playing 2nd fiddle to a monkey in movies like "Bedtime for Bonzo" I think that would have been fairly unbeleiveable.

I think the really funny line was (in the German dubbing - I don't know whether this is in the original) when he said:

"... and who's VeePee? Jerry Lewis?"

That really knocked me off! :rofl2:

Now that you mention it I think that was in the movie,I was probably laughing rolling on the floor and only sort of heard it.:rofl2:

Both films end with a door closing onto darkness, Ethan walking away in Searchers, the door closes. Godfather, as Kay watched Michael being crowned "don", a bodyguard closes the door and the screen goes to black. Just about every director mentions The Searchers as a favorite film, it could even be that Blade Runner (Final Cut) uses the same ending were the doors close to darkness.:2 cents:

I love the scene in Fight Club where "Jack" is describing what he does for a living. It's so damned cleverly done that you just have to love it.

Also, any of the battle scenes in Braveheart. Wicked.

And the whole mines of Moria sequence in The Fellowship of the Ring. That was twenty five minutes of zen for a lifelong Lord of the Rings fan.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre ('74) - Leatherface's first appearance.

Scanners - Daryl Revok causes that guy's head to explode.

The Thing - when the dog sits down, only to reveal ... it's not really a dog.

Sniper - Beckett's sniper duel ends with a nod to Carlos Hathcock.

I like the part in the first Star Wars where Luke Skywalker is about to be taken out by Darth Vader while trying to blow up the Death Star and right when Vader has him locked in, Han Solo appears out of nowhere and takes out Vader!

That's right. Good points. I wonder how many other movies end with a door closing. :)

My favorite is when Roy Hobbs hits his final home run in The Natural!
