Favorite FPS franchise

What's your favorite FPS franchise? (some are left out because there are so many, just vote Other and name your favorite)

For me, it's Half-life, but if the next Crysis parts will be as good as the first it's a close call

These guys move the genre on everytime they make a sequel and even the episodes are fantasic fun.
Level design is exquisite and they throw in Counterstrike too

CSS being Counter-Strike: Source? That's pretty Half-life to me, as the Source engine is used in Half-life 2

I really don't care about FPS-games, but I liked Doom back in the days.

Battlefield 2 is by a million miles the best online FPS I have played, nothing else comes even close...

I've been a fan of the COD series. But on that list battlefield is pretty solid. Though I've not played half life.

Also you get Portal, which is the most original game I've played in years.
