i think he's a great writer.
can't hardly wait for his next book, with Robert Langlon starring once again.

my favorite is "Angels & Demons", wich, by the way, it's gonna be a movie as well.

Sorry don't have a favorite, I don't like his writing!

I only remotely enjoyed reading Angels and Demons. But I found The Da Vinci Code to be way too pretentious. I never liked it from the moment I put it down. Yet people were hailing it as some sort new book to be added to the Holy Bible. It was/is sickening.

A&D aka illuminati

Asking which Dan Brown book is best is like debating the merits of McDonalds sandwiches - none of them ever rise above the level of mediocrity, so why bother?

Well, mediocre or not, I liked Angels & Demons. I thought that the plot of DaVinci Code was just a cookie cutout of A&D, with several differences, but it's the same.

I like him, his writing is very fast and it runs smoothly.

Da Vinci code is a good book, but massively overrated. It's all just fiction yet people seem to take it too seriously.

Kasperitius & Konkussions.

didnt even have to think about this one
Angels and Demons...no contest

It seems like everyone liked angels and demons better. I wish they had made that movie first.

It's just lame that people made such a big deal about Davinci Code, and they made the movie to cash in on the controversy.

I'm sure I said it before, but Brown did a great job of mixing history with narrative and weaving them both together. As I'm sure anyone who has taken the time to actually look into biblical history knows, he didn't come up with those theories, he just brought them into a contemporary medium. All the hysteria about it is just ignorance.

His new book sounds pretty good, but I'm kinda let down. I wish that he went in a different direction. it's mostly because of him that people have taken an interest in secret societies lately and so I'd like to see him raise the bar, and not do a book about the masons and the templars like everyone else.
