Ok since we have established that the original James Bond 007 is clearly the best lol lets vote for your favorite of his films.

I have listed them in the order I think they should go in the poll.Goldfinger to me is the ultimate one ( hard to be beat Pussy Galore and odd-job) but the next 3 especially all have elements that I really like as well.Thunderball has a lot of action ,From Russia with love has Robert Shaw and Dr.No was the 1st and introduced us to Bond and uses that great guitar riff more than most of the ones that followed.

I have listed the last two Connery did as well but IMO they pale compared to the earlier ones.

So which is your favorite?

Edit: Never mind the mis-key in poll question.:o

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
Goldfinger, even though it was the 3rd James Bond film, set the whole 007 phenomenon into motion. It wins hands down IMO. After that, there were TV shows by the score based on the "spy" theme like The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Prisoner, The Avengers, The Saint....hell even Get Smart that would likely never have been in existence if it had not been for Goldfinger.

Yep Goldfinger was the 1st one I saw and as you say launched the Bond phenomenon.

And yeah there were tons of imitators.Derek Flint(James Coburn) and Matt Helm:1orglaugh (Dean Martin) come to mind.

I chose From Russia with Love but i came close to choosing Thunderball. From Russia With Love is the most realistic Bond film. Robert Shaw's performance as Nash was brilliant and so was the guy who played Kerim Bey. They played their respective roles effortlessly. I loved the ending chase scene and the Orient Express and the exoticism of the whole movie with Istanbul and Venice as dreamy locations.

But Thunderball was great too. Who doesn't love the underwater fight? And who could hate on the babes that played Domino and that one redhead chick who got shot: "Mind if my friend sit here? She's just dead." Ha! That Connery!

You Only Live Twice was great too. In addition to the women Bond bangs at the beginning, Bond also fucks three other women. And he stops Blofeld, played excellently by Donald Pleasance. It also has my favorite theme song.

Still, I understand why you guys love Goldfinger:

Bond: "Who are you?"
Answer: "My name is Pussy Galore."
Bond: "I must be dreaming."

Ha, that Connery!

The hottest Bond Girl Tatiana Romanova and Mr James Bond take the thriller in my city Istanbul. Best one ever! Nothing can beat From Russia With Love. It's also Mr. Connery's favourite too.

The one where he looks at Pussy Galore and says: "Pussy??"

Goldfinger is the quintessential bond movie, comic book villans, great sidekick, plot, smooth suave 007,hot bond girl, Honour Blackman (Pussy Galore) and tons of completely loaded humor.

I'll take From Russia With Love because it still stands up today and Robert Shaw was a great villain. Goldfinger is a close second.
