As stated, who is your favorite Beatle, for whatever reason?

I was always partial to George Harrison myself. John and Paul, while talented, always seemed to have huge inflated egos as well. George, in my opinion, was just as talented as the other two, but because he was the "quiet Beatle", he wasn't noticed as much. I very much admire the fact that he embraced another culture, organized the Concert for Bangladesh, and even after the break-up of the main group, had a successful and noteworthy career.

Of course, the fact that he was married to that babe Pattie Boyd didn't hurt either.

As an ending note, I never had a problem with Ringo. I know a lot of people look down on him as unnecessary compared to the other three, but I think that his contributions (however big or small they might have been) helped make the band what they were.

George has always been mine. While being the "Quiet Beatle," he surely came out with some amazing songs. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" has always been my favorite Beatles song, and I even love the version featured on the third Anthology. I was so sad the day when he ****** away. Truly a great musician.

"Wonderful Stuff this Agnes." --- "Aye yes it's wonderful stuff."

Who said the first part? As that's my favorite Beatle. ;) By the way, the second part was John. :)

Hint... he's my avatar and here is this tribute by English comedian Stevie Riks. :)

Stevie Riks also does John and Paul too. ;)

John and Paul were the lyrics, but George was the music. For all the jokes about Ringo, you do have to give him some legit credit for one thing. He did tap Barbara Bach.

Ringo. It always seemed like he was the glue that kept the band together.

Ringo, because the man has excellent fashion. His name is Unique too. George? Paul? John? Pshhh...what uncreative parents they must have had.

Ok, some of you aint gonna like what I say(cough. jag, cough) but John Lennon was a complete A-Hole personality-wise.
He was demeaning to people, he faked that whole peace and love crap just to sell records, and Ripped off Zappa:
Watch if you want, don't cost nothin

Plus Yoko? He must have been off his rocker.
But Keith liked him so he couldn't have been all bad.

Paul is ok, good guy I think, but he can come off as a bit arrogant at times.
Ringo is just a lucky idiot. A great drummer though, almost as good as this guy:

George is my favorite Beatle, he just seemed real.

Well, I've always been partial to Ringo songs. Plus, the whole loner part he played on Hard Day's Night (which happened to be a term coined by him) was kinda cool.

I've made some money working for Paul in the past, so that counts for something.

John was extremely intelligent and a no-holes-bared type of guy. Spoke his mind and was not afraid to ruffle up some feathers or stiff collars. His constant battles with the religious community score some points with me, as well.
Paul was also extremely intelligent, and most likely the largest musical genius of the group. Yes, he created some pure fluff - but he also had the ability to bend a lot of rules. Of course, from my understanding, he should stay away from ballet.
In the end, I think Paul and John needed each other a lot more than people realized. Yes, as solo artists, they put together some rather good stuff (the Plastic Ono Band album, Imagine, Double Fantasy, Ram, McCartney, Band On The Run - I know the last is technically a group, but it was all Paul). But, both also put out some rather ****** stuff that probably would have never seen the light of day had The Beatles still been together. Either that, or the other would have aided the other to vastly improve it. (and, for the record, Yoko did not break up The Beatles. The Beatles broke up The Beatles. It was, with so much talent, unfortunately inevitable).
George was also very intelligent, but was so in a very quiet way as well as a spiritual way. I think the break-up actually hurt him quite a bit more than he let on...but at the same time, gave him a lot more musical freedom that he never would have had with The Beatles. He really did put out some great stuff - All Things Must Pass alone is a remarkable album, yet most of the songs would have never seen the light of day had The Beatles remained.
And as has been said before, while Ringo is the butt of many jokes, I also think he held the group together, and was a bit of an underrated musician. He might not have been the fastest nor the fanciest drummer - but a drummer who can actually keep a consistent beat is a must. And his personality alone helped The Beatles become who they were - he helped the others keep lose.
Then there is the underrated fifth Beatles in George Martin, another musical genius. Through all of the madness, there was Martin, faithfully working his ass off to help consistently create a perfect album, time after time. Without his assistance, I believe The Beatles would have had quite a tough time. And along with this, he was a bit of a ****** figure to the boys, at times, keeping them in line (at least in the recording studio).

If I had to actually pick one, there is no way. All five were irreplaceable in my opinion.
