Favorite American Sports Teams and Players

There were several threads about favorite individual teams and players but nothing that encompassed all sports leagues. So I took the initiative to put one together. Post your favorite teams and players (current or all-time) from each team. Don't pick more than two teams or players per pro league (choose a goddamn favorite). Just follow my format but post your own teams. I'm always interested to see people's favorite teams in regards to their location.

Note: I said American sports teams. I don't give a fuck about which European soccer or cricket club you like. I don't care about your favorite NASCAR or F1 drivers/teams. You're picking teams from leagues based in America (that means you can choose Canadian teams in baseball, basketball, or hockey). You can even throw in your least favorite if you so desire. Let's see your allegiance. Who ya got?

He is there strictly because he was my favourite at one point. I don't feel the same anger as most people because the game had fallen out of my interest around the time he left. Same reason Bosh is on there. Except I kind of dislike Bosh the more I hear about him in the free agency.
