Second Coming Of Extreme!?
There’s Somethin’ Happenin’ Here……
A Freudian or Jungian would say that every event comes full circle in one’s lifetime. Human beings, life events, industry, thoughts, ideas and the vast universe itself… That is what legacy, leadership and life are all about.
As such, the pro wrestling world waits with anticipation and baited breath for Saturday, April 28th, 2012.
In 1994, the Franchise Shane Douglas, with one unexpected toss of a coveted and recognized world championship strap to the ring mat, began and led a revolution which sparked a new movement in sports, bringing a new era and needed edge to the pro wrestling sports world.
At a time when the words “internet,” “Occupy”, “social media”, had yet to be invented, that superb style of thought, wrestling and compelling storyline development took pro wrestling out of a classic 1980’s environment which albeit fun, needed to be revamped, retooled and modernized for a newer audience and era. Old met new, with outstanding results, that are still talked about today…
Nearly twenty years have passed to date. And just like a movement and culture was sparked in 1994 to fix those years for the future, perhaps the same fire and passion will spark something new in 2012, setting the pace for years to come.
The fitting irony is that the Franchise appears to be at the helm and taking the lead…again.

MAJOR VIRAL VIDEO ALERT!!! SHANE DOUGLAS EJECTED FROM WWE RAW
It all went down Monday 3/19/12 in Philadelphia, PA.
It started at 10am when the incoming US AIRWAYS flight from Detroit, MI arrived with THE FRANCHISE SHANE DOUGLAS ready to leave the town of Philadelphia with some Extreme Reunion moments and memories.
After his pick up, Shane Douglas dined at Penrose Diner for some breakfast and signed a few autographs and took a few pictures. Next, The Franchise stopped by his old stomping grounds of the ECW Arena in South Philly to shoot some video promos. Walking back to the car, the new owners asked if Shane would like to come inside and shoot whatever he wished. Interesting… Next stop was the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory in Northeast Philly for a tour of the grounds and building; and then back to South Philly where he ran into a long time enemy Pitbull Gary Wolf as the two exchanged words and ending in a chase. During this time the Extreme Reunion team was in and around the Wells Fargo Center putting up poster boards and handing out thousands of fliers for the 4/28 Extreme Reunion show in Philly.
