explorer 8 annoyance , little help please.

ok i broke down and installed explorer 8 today, i had version 6 before.
I did some research and figured out how to get rid of most of the garbage up top, still trying to remove the command bar with the uneccesary favorite icon in it but i'm posting now because on freeones message board, in all the posts the some letters have a blackish font, other letters have a greenish font.
kinda like this: annoying
anybody else have this problem? know how to fix?

I'm back, cant use both its a pain in the butt.
I just want all font color to be black, strange how something so easy is becoming a quagmire.

Isn't this the part where you go to your control panel, open up display options, then go to appearance and fiddle around there?

gee hadnt thought of that, the threads done, i thought others might have had the same problem.
i hit system restore and got back explorer 6.
its just another thing that worked fine but the a-holes had to put out a new version, fuck it up with all kinds of bugs and nusiances and force you to use it.
if it aint broke dont fix it.

It's an IE bug. It has to do with the rendering engine Microsoft built, which, despite claiming to be HTML 5 and W3 standard compliant, still has major rendering bugs.

On a side note, I'd highly suggest that you download another browser, (Firefox is always popular, Google Chrome is another excellent choice, even Opera is a solid choice) because IE 6 is by far the most vulnerable browser out there, primarily because Microsoft stopped maintaining it in order to push people to upgrade. One Google search of IE6 security issues ought to give you a very basic idea of why you should change.

i think you should run the anti spyware, the search in google how to remove the useless command bar with favorite button or like shayd suggest look for ie vulenrabilities issues. I use i8 as I use firefox without any problems.
