Valid as from now. The admins can view all reps given so watch what you are doing pls.

do a search Civic Killer, many rep point threads, but you use the + - button under the rep power line in your left hand avatar section.

will you be monitoring who gives rep to who? or just if someone reports the are getting ******.

I had thought this rep rule already existed (or maybe it didn't, but it seems to be common sense to me), but the sticky is helpful in drawing people's attention to the issue! :thumbsup: :hatsoff:

Just keep it simple and it shouldn't be a problem. Give good rep for quality, good/productive (and correctly-placed) posts, and give neg rep for shitty, lame, spam, abusive, flaming posts, posts deliberately meant to stir up the pot, so to speak, and it'll all be fine. It's not a tough issue at all. Well, not in MY eyes...lol :thumbsup: :2 cents:

Nobody is "monitoring" rep, so please cast your paranoid thoughts out. Positive rep, in almost all cases, is positive and encouraged. This rule is a safeguard against recurring attacks and grudges. It does not mean that every neg rep should be reported. If someone posts something stupid, offensive, wrong.... then neg rep (if/as you always have - if you want.) If you received neg rep a few times, you probably deserved it.

This isn't something for someone who received bad rep to whine about, and come to the mods or admin. It is for truly malicious cases.
