Let's see, they sack a man as captain for having an affair with a team-mates ex girlfriend and give the armband to a player who has served a drugs ban.

that's a fair point.

Technically not true - he missed a drug test.. the reason was never proven as drug related.
I do agree with the sentiment though..

It's like asking Gary Glitter to be head salesman in a toyshop

Bollocks AGAIN!!!

OK - where does the Arse go from here?

Bendtner -- Eduardo

Arshavin -- Cesc---Song---Rosicky

Clichy--Vermaelen--Gallas---Eboue

We need to go back to a 4-4-2. Get Arshavin out of the middle. Have Nasri and Walcott coming off the bench. Tell Sagna he won't play until he learns to stop crossing the ball when there's nobody in the box. Clichy needs to watch his crosses too, but Clichy isn't afraid to take someone on 1-on-1.

I like Bendtner as a bench striker. He's good to come off the bench. The reality is is that RvP probably will never finish a season healthy. He's fragile. He has been injured every season since 2006. Enough is enough. We can keep him but we need another REAL STRIKER OPTION until Vela and Bendtner develop. Those 2 are still really young. Eduardo is talented but maybe losing a step?

We need to sign a 6'+ striker who can finish with his head or foot. Carlton Cole? Someone from the Bundesliga. Someone from the Dutch league? SOMEONE!!!!!

Hmmm, u mean like Andre Pierre Gignac? Hes even French (and thus not British) which means Wenger likes him already.

He was still banned as a result of skipping the drugs test, there for he has served a ban due to a drug related issue. Technically a drugs ban.

Whether he would have passed the test on the day is a different matter and only he knows if it would have been a pass or fail.

Does anybody still think they know who will win this season's premier league? :dunno:

Anyone remember the good old days when men were men and footballers were footballers? ;)
This article brings back great memories. :)

I have no idea what's going on.

Don't look now but Spurs could jump Arsenal for 3rd.

I think we're going to luck out a bit in that Fulham have the UEFA Cup to prepare for. I assume they're going to rest their big guns against the Goons.

All we need to do is win. Man, our team really has no desire to play at the moment huh :mad::(

Make or break time for Spurs tomorrow night, as ever I have little confidence in them as they slip up at the worst of times but Man City can be just as unreliable so it's game on.

I have no horse in that race, but I'm real interested in that one. If I were to pick one to pull for, I'd go with Spurs, cuz Manc City pisses me off sometimes.
