Okay, I was letting my RS issue with Em on the cover sit for awhile because I didn't really care to read that one, but alas, I read the story to find his "sponsor" is Elton. How many of you knew this? How many care? How many think it's indicative of an underlying closetedness of Em?
I'm a fan regardless and have almost all of his discs, but I just find it funny.
(I think he said he talks to him once a week at least, or something like that.
FTR, for those of you squares out there that don't know what a "sponsor" is, it's a person/mentor/friend in sobriety you choose as the main person to go to whenever you are flirting with a relapse. Essentially it's a "big *******" or "****** figure" in your life - it's a pretty big deal.
