Echo and the MF Bunnymen!

ok, now i have to say your cool!!!!

Dude I love these motherfuckers! I used to get a lot of grief over it because I was playing metal. it was kind of a guilty pleasure. Does their music not stand the test of time?

Never understood why they didn't reach U2 level of stardom.

I think this version was better than the Doors.

i'd mix echo in with suicidal tendancies, they were great and a nice change of pace

damn, it wont let me rep you lol

Loved Suicidal tendencies.

Is there an 80's music thread here? I did a quick search and didn't find one. If there is one bump it or start one.

Who's on the seventh floor
Brewing alternatives
What's in the bottom drawer
Waiting for things to give

Spare us the cutter
Spare us the cutter
Couldn't cut the mustard

Conquering myself
Until I see another hurdle approaching
Say we can, say we will
Not just another drop in the ocean

Come to the free for all
With seven tapered knives
Some of them six feet tall
We will escape our lives

Spare us the cutter
Spare us the cutter
Couldn't cut the mustard

Conquering myself
Until I see another hurdle approaching
Say we can, say we will
Not just another drop in the ocean

Am I the happy loss
Will I still recoil
When the skin is lost
Am I the worthy cross
Will I still be soiled
When the dirt is off

Conquering myself
Until I see another hurdle approaching
Say we can, say we will
Not just another drop in the ocean
Ocean

Watch the fingers close
When the hands are cold

Am I the happy loss
Will I still recoil
When the skin is lost
Am I the worthy cross
Will I still be soiled
When the dirt is off

Am I the happy loss
Will I still be soiled
When the dirt is off

Noel Gallahger approved.

So shall I.

Fuck I remember Ian Mcculloch back in the days, fully dressed up like Judy Garland. I hate to say it but he looked kind of hot...

They where freakin awesome..!

persona non grata
There were a lot of good bands that came out of the 80´s (despite all the overproduced, plastic garbage that were on the charts). The Jesus and Mary Chain is probably my favourite "80´s" band, but Echo and The Bunnymen were pretty good too.

they played "Crocodiles" all the way through, had a break and then played "Heaven Up Here" all the way through.
