I have some problems with eBay especially those small electronic companies selling thousands of items (mostly used) and used fake bidders to jack up the price in the bidding war. I purchased a laptop for over $680.00 (used one) and broken down in a year.
I also found fake eBay webpage,please never sent money order or bank transfer to eBay sellers. Even using Paypal is not safe, eBay only refunds $200.00 for items that are useless.
Any overseas sellers are not reliable. And any eBay emails may not be truthful.
I have stayed away from internet purchases and even softwares, I insist a hard copy of CD sent to me. (besides download to my computer)
Many of my friends have good luck on Ebay, but they are buying used stuff at a cheap price. Don't buy any expensive stuff at eBay, you never know what you got.
What is your experience with eBay and other internet purchases ?
