Winter is Coming: Donald Trump claims to have October Surprise for Barack Obama

Real estate mogul, reality television star, de facto leader of the “birther” movement, and proxy for Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, Donald Trump, is planning a “big announcement” about President Barack Obama.

"I have something very, very big concerning the President of the United States," Trump told "Fox & Friends" Monday morning during a phone interview. "I will be announcing it sometime on Wednesday and it's going to be very big."

"Will it change the election?" co-host Gretchen Carlson asked Trump.

"Possibly," replied Trump. "It's very big--bigger than anybody would know."

The Donald – who has live-tweeted during the presidential debates - said he would likely make his announcement on "the Twitter” @realDonaldTrump.

The "Celebrity Apprentice" host was scheduled to deliver a "big surprise" at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, but Hurricane Isaac forced the GOP to cut his appearance from the truncated schedule.

Predictably so, the video featured an Obama impersonator that was fired by Trump.

According to The Cleveland Leader, Trump’s pre-announcement comes on the same day another alleged bombshell is scheduled to drop.

The Octsurprise.com website has a running countdown set to expire at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time but offers few details.

“One of your presidential candidates isn’t being honest with you,” the website’s Twitter bio reads. “Stay tuned to find out which one it is.”

Similar to the term “Winter is Coming,” October Surprise is a term in political jargon referring to a late-in-the-campaign-season news event with enough potential to influence an election result.
