Do the majority of pornstars suffer from a past of sexual abuse?

There's always been some kind of a "myth" surrounding the porn industry, that most of the women have a past of sexual abuse. What do you think?

I don't know if I could ever say "majority" but there definitely has been a few here and there - particularly in the BDSM side of things - has always been an undercurrent of exploitation and sexual abuse in certain segments of the industry. I remember watching a very typical porn vid - one of those fresh talent meets experienced stud vids - where a female performer - who ended up being in the industry for a very short time - was doing the usual before the scene interview and when the topic of her first time came up, she locked up and her body language immediately changed and she tried to turn herself away from the camera before she broke down. During the scene, she was pretty much a cold fish, so you could tell there was something not right behind those eyes.
