The last big HIV scare in the industry was back in the spring of 2004. Stupid idiot Darren James went down to Brazil for some extra work, acquired the virus there from Brazilian actress Bianca Biaggi, then came back and worked several scenes BEFORE getting tested again by AIM. He ended up passing on HIV to three actresses (Jessica Dee, Lara Roxx and Miss Arroyo). Fortunately, the rules have been updated that you have to be "quarantined" after working outside the AIM-covered industry in the US and get your updated test before working again. :2 cents:

Seriously, the porn industry seems to do as good a job as they can. Everyone knows if you want to get AIDS all you have to do is visit any country south of the US and have unprotected sex, you're almost guaranteed to get something you will never get rid of.

What a idiot, I hope he no longer work in the porn industry. Its really sucks for those actresses but do we know what exactly which HIV they got? Because I Jessica was in a Hot Chick with Mr. Big Dick, which is recent and after 2004 and the guy didn't wear a condom with her.

the only problem with tests, is that HIV has a long period of hidden activity, while it can't be detected. and this period is quite long (about 6 months if I am not mistaken) That's why, for example, blood that was taken from donors gotta be sustained for that period in a depository, and after that again tested for virus. Only after that procedure donor-blood can be used for transfusion to other people.
So, of course, tests on a regular basis are good protection from the diseases, but some probability still exists. So, those who are involved in the industry can rely only upon their corporate culture, cuz people gotta understand that with such a job you have to be very accurate in your everyday sex life.
But, all in all, when it comes to watching I prefer to see sex without condoms. And by the way, what could you do with cumshots in the mouth? It is very important constituent of porn. And in case of infected actor, cum will contain HIV virus.
