The board has more than adequate moderator staff nowadays and with the relaxing of the board that should leave plenty of time to do the other less than glamorous elements of keeping the board free of spam etc

For being blatant spam. All that happened was it being moved the red light forum, advertising links and content untouched.
Now I see that it took Roald himself, probably of his own volition and not based on the report, to edit the advertising links. I checked the board rules and advertising was still a no no, so why does it take so long to have something as simple as spam acted on?
I reported this post this afternoon, advertising links in signature, blatantly spam -
