"Dave's Old Porn" - Have you watched this show?

I recently downloaded some new software for my Tivo unit and decided to see if the keyword search was any better. So I put in "Ginger Lynn" to see what popped up. I got a show called "Dave's Old Porn" that I'd never heard of before. It comes on Showtime and it's pretty interesting and entertaining, especially if you like 70's and 80's porn and were a fan of Mystery Science Theater. Dave Attell shows clips of old porn movies with the Three Bs (boobs, butts and bush... but no penetration) and always has some guests on his couch: Nina Hartley, Kathy Griffin, Chelsea Handler, et al. Ginger was on last night. She has definitely aged but she still has a some of the girlish look that she was famous for - and she was hella funny and still sexy (IMO). I found it amazing how when I looked at her, I still saw the girlish, perky, bundle of total hotness that she once was. Same thing happens when I see recent pics of Christy Canyon, Vanessa del Rio and Seka. And after watching this show, there's no doubt in my mind that golden age porn was definitely a lot sexier and more original than the boring, formulaic drivel that is out there today - the pro porn anyway... a lot of the pro-am porn is very good.

Seen it a few times when I've caught it on, it is funny and I like that they usually have a porn star to co-host the show as well

Thanks! I just got OnDemand on my TiVo and didn't know this show was on it. I saw two episodes that had Vanessa del Rio listed and one with Seka - got all three.

For what it is, it's a pretty funny & interesting show.

I almost feel a little guilty that I was surprised, but I was a bit surprised at how intelligent and well spoken Asa Akira was when she was on last night's episode. Jesse Jane, er, not so much. If someone told me that Asa was in Mensa, I'd probably believe them. And I hate to be harsh, but I doubt you could get me to believe that Jesse even knows what Mensa is.

Now I'm curious to know more about Asa.
