Ace Bandage
The one and only.
Okay, let me set the scene. When I was a sophomore in college (19 years-old) I had to go to a local high school to observe the teacher and students as part of my field experience for my education degree. I was put into an eleventh grade class (17 years-old). Now, keep in mind, the students were only two years younger than me and some of them were attractive. I, of course, tried to keep my professionalism. As I was only there to observe, I didn't interact with the students very much anyway. During my... observations, I noticed one female in particular who looked damn fine! I admit I checked her out a few times. Obviously, I didn't try to act on anything because getting thrown out of the program wasn't worth a relationship. So, I went about my business and moved on when my field experience was over.
Flash ahead seven years (whoosh). I ran into her randomly at a bar on Tuesday night ($.25 **** night on campus, w00t) but I didn't realize who she was until I started hitting on her. Once she told me her name, it clicked. She remembered me as well and guessed my name after I gave her a hint. It was a little awkward for a minute because she called me "Mr." and talked about when I was in her classroom, but we got over that. We talked for awhile (and hit it off pretty well) and made a date to have dinner on Saturday.
Now, I'm going to do everything I can to close the deal on Saturday. So I'm not asking your opinion on what I should do. I already know what the goal is. What I'm asking is whether or not this is right. I feel like it's okay because she's only two years younger, and I've dated girls with bigger age gaps before - five years ( I was 24, she was 19, but that's neither here nor there). But part of me feels it's a bit disconcerting that I was once in her high school classroom functioning as teacher, albeit in a limited capacity. So give me your opinions. Would your pursue her if you were in my place? Am I completely wrong? I don't plan on being influenced, I'm just curious.
