D-Day : Book by Antony Beevor

I am a keen student of World War II and I have just bought and am now reading D-Day by Antony Beevor.

Beevors previous books, Stalingrad, Berlin, were both superb books.
Each book evoked and replayed the sheer ********* that was World War II in Russia and Germany.

Beevor, an acknowledged historical expert and former British army officer, in his latest book, D-Day, brings more and more information to that seminal event.
For example, the Allies ****** more French civilians during D-Day, that they did Germans.

For keen students of WWII, I thoroughly recommend Beevors book.
