I first became aware of the term after seeing the show of the same name starring Courtney Cox. I first thought the name of the show, having never watched it, related to the ****** or a mascot of sports team of some such. Little did I realise it meant -

Given the definition, an older women, no longer wanted by the younger male, so she will whore herself in an attempt to feel wanted, loved and generally still desired by anyone below her age bracket - makes perfect sense why they cast Courtney Cox in the title role. Problem being, she was never desired regardless of her age.
My question is this. Why do we feel the need to create names for groups of people, primarily women in this instance, that is intended to give them lease to engage in whatever sexual escapades they choose?
If a woman old enough to be your ****** wants to tart herself up, go find a nightclub and generally fuck the first nervous stranger she sees, who is mercifully ignorant of whats ahead of him, let her! There is an advert on tv in the UK, text dating services, that lists the women in the 40s, 50s and 60s as silk, satin and...I cant remember the third, but it might as well be leather lipped.
I personally despise the term MILF, always hated it, mainly because the original use of the word was always meant for women of a mature age, who I expect was meant to have raised her ****** and remained desireable. Now the word seems applicable to any piece of meat whose thighs have bore a *****. Ive seen people on the board refer to women as young as 25 and below as MILF. By that logic the name applies to women of any age with a *****, which has sinister implications.
Now we have the cougar, now maybe its my backwards Scottish ways, or maybe the UK has only now caught up in the latest craze. Is the queue to Noahs ark lining up to lend its name to the latest sexual niche?
