MILWAUKEE - The nation's second and third-largest brewers, Miller and Coors, are planning to blend their U.S. operations to help them compete in a struggling U.S. industry and against its leader, Anheuser-Busch.
The deal, announced Tuesday, will place almost 80 percent of the U.S. **** market in the hands of just two companies, the new MillerCoors and Anheuser-Busch, making it a likely target for a tough antitrust review.

Mergers inherently -
√ give rise to oligopolies
√ encourage layoffs & buyouts > refill with cheaper insourced labor
√ lower product quality
√ offer fewer product choices
√ further polarize corporate relationships with consumers and investors alike
√ reward massive salary increases within the corporate hierarchy
√ enhance the dismemberment of a once dominant middle class demographic
Isn't it a wonderful time to be alive ?
As the super wealthy get greater, the mid class default into serfdom.
