Convicted Felon Donald Trump’s Second Presidency

Upon looking at the World Map, it dawned on me, in a "aha!" moment, why Trump is so obsessed with annexing Canada and acquiring Greenland.
It's now clear and obvious that Trump has an inferiority complex when it comes to Putin/Russia. He looks at the world map and sees how small the US
is compared to Russia's massive territory. He figures if he can take Canada and Greenland, the US would then surpass Russia in terms of total land mass,
22 million square kilometers vs. 17.1 million square kilometers for Russia.

As we all know, when it comes to Trump, his every motivation is centered around feeding and protecting his fragile ego. ;)

As the wipeout and for-profit-imprisonment of migrants goes forward, the states have to come up with solutions for the now missing workforce.

Florida has a great plan:

Florida debates lifting some child labor laws to fill jobs vacated by undocumented immigrants

New York CNN —

Florida has been working for years to crack down on employers that hire undocumented immigrants. But that presented a problem for businesses in the state that are desperate for workers to fill low-wage and often undesirable jobs.

Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state legislature have a potential solution: children.

The state’s legislature on Tuesday advanced a bill that would loosen child labor laws, allowing children as young as 14 years old to work overnight shifts. If the new law is passed, teenagers would be able to work overnight jobs on school days. They are currently prevented from working earlier than 6:30 am or later than 11 pm per state law.

The bill passed through the Florida Senate’s Commerce and Tourism committee on Tuesday with five votes in favor of the loosened child labor restrictions and four against them. The bill will pass through two other relevant committees before being put to a vote with the full Florida Senate.

Leave it to the Governor DeSantimonius. He's brilliant. *I'm being sarcastic here* ...

That happened during the Industrial Revolution (late 1800s to early 1900s) especially in Western Pennsylvania. The child workers - starting from age 10 through 16 - all got Black Lung disease from coal and coke mining and as a result got ill and died. Hundreds of them.

Trump's plan of imposing "reciprocal tariffs" on trading partners is a facade.
Applying a made-up mathematical formula, tariff rates assigned to targeted countries were manufactured for convenience.
Using these fake rates to justify his actions, Trump wants to use tariffs to eliminate trading deficits with other nations,
which he sees as a losing proposition, i.e., countries taking advantage of the US.

By using tariffs as a weapon, Trump [foolishly and unrealistically] wants to turn back the clock (calendar) to around 1970 when the US was a
manufacturing juggernaut. Trump's idiotic idea will likely go down as one of the most disastrous policy blunders in US history.

Utterly Tariffying...
Because Trump falsely equates a trading deficit to unfair trade, he has essentially declared economic war on all of our trading partners!
Virtually the entire world now is against the United States. This nationalistic [MAGA] movement is stupidity on steroids.

Looking at the stock market, it looks and feels like the sinking Titanic.
The damage done to the country by Trump 2.0 will be severe and long lasting!
He has stained the American brand abroad for perhaps a generation which will seriously hurt America's tourism industry.

Hopefully, the Republican Party will learn its lesson and never ever again nominate a felonious, moronic, narcissistic, petulant, immature,
uncivilized egomaniac for President of the United States.

If it happened, what would be wrong with that? Seeing and experiencing the devastating impact of the steel industry’s demise in late 70s Pittsburgh was not fun. Returning to the suburban steel towns today shows the impact from long-term neglect.

The impact of Trump’s delusional policies on our 401(k)’s will set the stage for 2026. He was elected to manage the economy positively. Since being inaugurated, he has sent it on a downward spiral. Hiring was stronger than expected, yet the market is entering ‘bear territory.’

My concern is the Republicans will find someone even worse than Trump.
