As a Liverpool supporter I was over the moon. Looks very promising for the future especially as Abramovich can buy any player he wants for his "super" Chelsea team.

I love English soccer and Liverpool is my favorite team. However, I would consider myself a "fan" as in "fanatical supporter". I just like them and I think it sucks big time that they can't defend their title next season. :fight:

UEFA have given the go ahead for Liverpool to defend their Champions league title for the 2005-06 season.
The only downside is that they will have to play in the preliminary rounds... a total of 19 matches should they reach the final... :thumbsup:

Apologies for reviving this thread - but I just wanted to give a quick "hip-hip" to Liverpool for winning 3-1 against CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria.
However (as Liverpool themselves know), this is just half-time....so I'll save the "Hooray" for later.
