A lot of pornstars who insist upon using condoms for intercourse don't use condoms for blowjobs - is that totally inconsistent or is there some logic there?

Many STDs are not including HIV are allegedly not communicable through saliva. Now what would be inconsistent is a performer who wanted to use a condom for intercourse but then swallowed or took a cumshot in the mouth.
I think it's okay to proffer this opinion even though I don't have any titles credited to my name on IAFD.com or have conducted some poll of porn stars.
I for one think it's wise for porn stars to use condoms. Porn CEOs who say porn fans don't want condoms to be used in porn movies is not speaking for me
Saliva isn't the problem. Mucous membrane is.
Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Syphilis can ALL be transmitted through ANY mucous membrane (the mouth is just ONE area - guess where the other areas are?) In fact, condom use while reducing the instance of contracting Syphilis does not ELIMINATE the risk (as condom use with Gonorrhea and Chlamydia does to a greater extent).
Then then are the 'viral' diseases...
Bottom line: You stick an infected penis in a mucous membrane without protection, you are risking infection...

I believe it's when the guy is in the biz and has been tested but the girl has not (because of being an "amateur" or whatever), so he can fuck her without catching anything, and she can safely take a cumshot in the face...... That's what I heard at least :2 cents:
If either is in the biz, then both will have been tested. No studio in the US or Europe will allow untested performers.
Only pure amateur films would either partner not have been tested, and in this case it is extremely unlikely that either is in the industry.
I think condoms are not used during a blow job because industry insiders think that it will turn the viewer off. However since most porn promotes safe sex a condom should be worn during a blow job.
