Yes, "Lt. Columbo" was the character that Mr. Falk was noted for. He was a great actor.

I remember him with Alan Arkin in the film, "The In-Laws"... such a great film.

In my opinion, much better than the remake with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks.

Sadly, he will be missed.

Columbo is one of my favourite series, I can watch some of the episodes over and over again and yet they don't bore me.

Even though to most his name will always resonate with that particular character, I was never much of a fan of Columbo (ducks AFA's invisible wrath), but the man's talent can't be denied. His performance in A Woman Under the Influence, was fantastic.
