Claudy Bombings: Church And Govt Criticised

These "terrorist" attacks have been mentioned once in a post but I'm really surprised this doesn't have a thread already.

The Catholic Church, police in Northern Ireland
and the British Government have been criticised
over the 1972 Claudy bombings that ****** nine
people.

The nine-year investigation into the triple bombings
found evidence of collusion between the groups to
protect ****** James Chesney.

The Irish priest was a key suspect in the attacks
but was allowed to move to a new parish and was never
questioned by police. He died in 1980.

This is a ********. Heads should roll but probably won't. I can't help but
wonder what would have happened if a muslim was the main suspect in
an identical act of terrorism. I'm sure the police and the government
wouldn't have let him get away with it. :2 cents:
