I'm curious, are other countries bombarded with Charity adverts featuring sanctimonious, holier than though, smart arsed celebrities?

In the UK it's hard to sit through one commercial break without a celebrity fronted Charity advert. How is it in other countries?

Finnish celebrities are often quite poor so they don't donate much money to Charity.
