I just heard about Raquel Welch. Not only beautiful but very healthy looking. She held it together until she kicked. RIP
I was thinking the same thing. She was on Mork and Mindy once, in a skin tight space outfit. WOW!

Yep, that's the one I'm talkin' 'bout.

Awe man, that's to bad. He had a pretty good run at stand up comedy, and comedy writing too, I do believe. R.I.P Mr. Belzer.

On a side note, I read Tom Sizemore suffered a brain aneurysm, and is in a "wait and see" situation. I know he had a problem with drugs, and was sober for awhile. I hope he pulls through. He did a good job in "Saving Private Ryan", and "Black Hawk Down".

Leiji Matsumoto, manga creator of epic space sagas, dies aged 85

Leiji Matsumoto, the famed Japanese manga and anime creator of epic space sagas including "Galaxy Express 999" and "Space Pirate Captain Harlock", has died aged 85, his office said on Monday.

The cause of death was heart failure, local media said.

Matsumoto was also known for his work with Yoshinobu Nishizaki on the 1970s TV series "Space Battleship Yamato" - titled "Star Blazers" in the United States - with Matsumoto credited as its director as well as the creator of the manga series spun off from it.

He also supervised several animated videos for the French electronic music duo Daft Punk including "One More Time".

Matsumoto, who was 7 years old when the World War Two ended, said his work was informed by his wish for people not to experience war and to live for the earth.

"Human beings should make efforts to protect all living creatures and nature on earth," he told public broadcaster NHK in 2015.

Matsumoto is the recipient of several awards from the Japanese government, as well as the Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French government.

All three original guitarists are gone. First Allen, then Ed, now Gary. Very sad.
He was the last original member still alive. I just wonder if the other members will go on. They could theoretically buy the rights to the name, if they had to. There are certain bands, you can just see going on and on, even without original members, just because they were that kind of band. Yes comes to mind, as a band like that, with so many personnel changes, and style influences, from those musicians coming and going. Actually I'm surprised we don't have 2 separate "Pink Floyd's".
