[NEEDS ID] Canadian model from the past

Sadly no image, as I only have that in my head, and I cannot remember the name of this model.

She had her own site, I think in the 90s or early 2000.
I am sure she was Canadian, a DJ and got murdered by her (ex) boyfriend.
Usually half long haired like Amyamyamy, but more straight.

Somehow she got stuck in my head, and I cannot remember the name.
I know it is not a lot to go on, but perhaps somebody remembers her from way back.

Dorothy Stratten was a 1979 Playboy centerfold and the Playmate of the Year for 1980. She was murdered by her husband.

Hi, thanks, but not her. The girl I am looking for had her own website, and it was later than 1980.

After searching for hours today I finally remember her name: Lindsey Marshall.
I was incorrect about the murder, sorry, guess my memory was a bit too far off.
