I like the idea of a Vietnam game. That could be great if done well.
Well seeing that it's being developed by Treyarch, I will be skipping this one.
what wow i think world at war was the best cod game put out . it made you feel like you were really in a war

If you enjoyed World At War, what you enjoyed was the almost the exact same core of Call of Duty 4, with different character models and mostly recycled weapons from Call of Duty 2.
cod mw cod waw cod mw2 are the only cod titles i have ever played and world at war was awesome to me the graphics and combat felt better then modern warefare

I did like it too but from my experience I like mw2 for the war feeling and the weapons seemed very life like but since i was in afghanistan i might be a little one sided lol
If there is two things in games I don't want to see for a while it's WW2 and Vietnam. The later being over done in movies and not that appealing as a game setting either. And I don't want to see the SAS in a game made by those dog-dick bastards Treyarch. How dare they defile the name of the SAS by adding them to their game!.
I'd say i liked COD: WAW more than i like MW2. MW2's multiplayer is disgustingly mediocre.

think they are taking the whole franchise too far now and its mainly just money grabbing they are focusing on, given the popularity of the franchise - admittedly MW2 was very good - but it took a very short time to complete the campaign. I think they should spend some time developing a PROPER stroryline.

why does everyone want a long campaign? I lose interest halfway through as is. If the campaign was much longer I would have never bothered to finish it. Story be damned. If the gameplay never changes from the beginning of the game, it grows stale real fast. Not just with the CoD franchise but any game. I for one prefer the short games.
I like long campaigns, but you're right, CoD shouldn't be any longer than it already is.
I'd actually like to see no campaign. I'd buy an online multiplayer only version of the game.
would u still say that if they continuing using there p2p hosting system in the next title?
