I recently started watching the early Gunsmoke episodes on MeTV. I knew about Reynold's role as Quint, but I've really been impressed by the job he did playing the character.

Now everyone in this photo is dead.

B. Burt Reynolds -- February 11, 1936 to September 6, 2018.

Burt was just thirteen months older than Jerry.

I did not really knew him as an actor. I have the feeling that he was way more popular in the Us than outside the US. Also he was a guy from the '70 and the '80. he had quite less rearkable movies in the '90 and after. His last real good movie was Boogie Nights

I almost always enjoyed his acting since watching his TV show Hawk in 1966. Yes his movies are hit or miss. When he works for buddy Hal Needham they treated their shoots like paid Summer Vacations; girls, ***** & crashes. When he directed himself it was all business and no ****** money. Think I'm going to celebrate his career tonight by watching two hard to find movies Shamus & Physical Evidence, and them maybe Cannonball Run or Stoker Ace.
