We’re lucky enough to have a professional Baseball, Football and Basketball Team so that i’m Thankful for. Browns are at least trending toward being better, Indiana under Terry Francona have done well but fall short of a World Series and the Cavs well, when Lebroj left it was going to show what the basketball team was. And we’re a lottery team without question. I was fortunate enough to witness a NBA Championship a couple years ago. Hallelujah!
I'm old enough to remember the NHL's Cleveland Barons ... they merged with the Minnesota North Stars.
I liked the North Stars because they had so many U.S. Olympians from the 1980 hockey team: Neal Broten, Steve Christoff, Mark Johnson, Dave Pavelich, Jim Craig, and Steve Janaszak.
I remember going to the Cleveland Barons games back when the Cleveland Arena was around, then the Cleveland Crusaders when Gerry Cheevers was goalie for us after drafting him in the expansion draft from the Boston Bruins. I went to a Barons game the 2nd time they were here but didn’t last long. Rumors about Kluber in a trade, we’ll see. Indians need outfield and bullpen help and a bat or two.
