Brett Favres start Streak is over at 297

Who cares? He's hung on too long and is now a bit of a running joke.

And can someone explain to me how you fucking get Farve out of Favre? Even his name pisses me off.

He's probably a top 10 to top 20 quarterback that has his career look better than it is due to very massive stat padding.

Still being somewhere in that range for best quarterback ever isn't something that's bad by any means. He's a sure Hall of Famer and deserves to be. It's too bad the end of his career will be remembered more for the countless years of will he or won't he retirement hysteria that he played up as much as anybody else and for him becoming a spotlight and attention whore during that period.

I'd easily put him top 10, potentially top 5 all time, but hanging on too long took its toll.

#1 Best QB of all time! Hands Down! The man is the toughest sob to ever play that position, Started every game since 1992!!! They say 297 but it's really 321 with playoffs, you gotta count them because they play harder in the post season. I give him his credit because he holds every major record, most wins, most TD's, most yard's, most consecutive starts & the list goes on, I watched him for 15 years do magical thing's with my team Green Bay, but even though he traded, I still admit He is the best ever. Stats Prove it!

I'd stil say he is the number one ever. These last years aside (where he has performed... decently given his age), he easily had one of the best careers ever. If Jordan can still be considered the best after his stint with the Wizards, so can Farve. At least Farve made the playoffs during his return.

The difference is that Jordan was already considered the best by the time he retired (either time), so everything he did after that was just added stuff that didn't matter.

Favre's prime years just don't match up as well with the top quarterback's of all time prime years. He has a lot of mediocre (or worse) stat compiling years.

He only has all the top stats because he was around so long. Take his average stats per game and hes just a better than average qb. I hate iron man stats...probably the dumbest stat ever kept yet they get so much praise. Im so over Favre...he can go away now and i never need to hear another word about his 'streak'.

One of the all-time greats but doesn't quite make The "Mount Rushmore" of QB's.

Retired greats like Marino, Montana, Elway and Unitas all rank ahead of him, and current players like Manning and Brady do too, so that puts Favre somewhere between 7-10. :2 cents:
