I generally dislike the abundance of news articles posted on the board, but there are rare exceptions when something angers me to the point I have to post and comment on it -

Bravo in the UK might not be one of the best channels on television, but it still airs a better selection of viewing than Living. Bravo is probably the on air equivalent of the likes of Nuts and ***, i.e an excuse to get boobies and bloodshed with a sprinkling of immature humour. Where as living is the refuge of the stay at home mum with nothing better to do than watch reruns of "feel better" ****.
I love how the article mentions the additon of another Katie Price show like its the saving grace of the decision. Thats just what we need, another show about her that will apparantly earn her millions, while a camera crew troll around her "look at me" existence. An hour long slideshow of piles of dog **** on pavements offers about as much entertainment and similairly requires a similair I.Q to watch.
Has anyone in the UK looked at the listed of the living channels? Its a mixture of reruns and mish mash of shows you can watch on any other channel. The entertainment quality is poor at the best of times, not to mention the expansion of challenge tv?
Just what we need, more chances to watch that grinning cock Chris Tarrant ask "Is that your final answer" followed by an excruciatingly long tense pause, on rerun after rerun of who wants to be a millionaire. When was the last time anyone found themselves saying - "Oh, theres nothing on, lets watch repeats of Deal or No Deal" - has anyone found themselve watching brand new epsidoes of Deal Or No Deal?!
Television is saturated with quiz shows and would be challenge shows to the point where no one actually gives a fuck about the questions and knowledge but would rather tune in to watch some fatty fall into a puddle of mud!
Im not implying Bravo or "one" were pinnacles of broadcasting, but they at least offered a variety of shows that didnt reduce the viewer to a lactating, couch bound, drooling mongrel idiot.
