Bought a new bike this afternoon.

My old bike was almost falling apart so I decided it was time for a new one. This is the one I bought, a 3 speed bike with handbrakes. It has a black satin finish and the lettering on it gives it a kind of military look. The price was also reasonable, just 600 euro's.

I donlt get it, how come women's bikes never have the bar that goes straight across, but guys bikes do?

Nice bike, are you going to put tassels on the handlebars? Tassels make any bike badass.

looks nice, enjoy your bike.

I love my bike. If it wasn't for my bike I'd be 6 feet under by now and logging into freeones from the depths of Hell :glugglug:

600 euros is about $850, I think. Wow! I admit, I don't know much about bicycles anymore, but what would an expensive bike cost these days?

You get what you pay for. A good bike is worth the money. There are bikes that can run you 3-4 grand.

I was half expecting a motorcycle. Pretty sweet looking bike though.

It goes back to the early years of the bicycle. When women wore those long ass dresses. They don't have a bar so they can still ride with the skirt. Without showing to much skin for the times. They just never changed the design.

By dropping the rear anchor point of the top tube, it is lengthened which adds weight. Also, the triangle structure is compromised making the frame weaker. I guess they think girls don't need as strong a frame as guys...
