Bob Elliott of Bob and Ray has died.

He was 92. I used to love listening to Bob and Ray. Their understated wit was in direct contrast with the caustic, cynical comedy popular in their time. Plus, he was Chris Elliott's ****** and he must have done something right because that guy is a Goddamn American treasure.

I loved Bob and Ray as a *** and young adult. Let's see a show of hands. How many members here even know who Bob & Ray were much recall ever have seen them perform on TV? Not many is my guess.

You're right. Never did, but having just gone and watched a few clips, I am reminded very much of the heyday of SNL ... when it was actually clever and funny :hatsoff:
